The saying "some good things come in small packages" definitely is one way to describe Singapore. 

This country may be mini in size but sure is max in fun! More so, its size and advancements in technology make it a very accessible city as well as providing convenience in getting around.


Be it you're on a long holiday, a weekend trip, or even just a flight lay-over, don't hesitate to go into the city and enjoy yourself. 

Here are some fun things to do in Sing Sing:

Eat amazing local food at Lao Pa Sat, Boon Tat or at any 'hawker' style food complexes.

Party it up at the various bars and clubs.

Have dinner and drinks at the scenic Clark Quay.

If you're into gambling, pop into the entertainment-lifestyle casinos of either Resorts World Sentosa or Marina Bay Sands.  

Not into that? Then, just have a romantic stroll along the river across these resident magnanimous complexes of the city.  

Need a little thrill and rush? Spend a day at Universal Studios and ride the awesome Battlestar Galactica dueling roller coaster and see if you prefer to be a Human or a Cylon!

How about some retail therapy? Singapore has loads of places to suit your shopping needs - from the high-end fashion brands on Orchard Road to affordable merchandise at Far East Plaza, Lucky Plaza, Bugis Street, to name a few.


Whatever you fancy, this little yet enjoyment-filled city will definitely have something for you.

P.S. Stuck at Changi Airport, too tired from your flight or with not enough time to go into the city? Not to worry as Changi is wonderfully suited with various entertainment facilities from gardens to movie theaters to restaurants and bars to private lounges to ease your exhaustion or combat your boredom. It's such an amazing airport that I've actually chosen my flights with lay-overs here. Also, it deserves its own post (coming up).
